Rudgwick sits on rising ground on the West Sussex side of the border, looking north towards Surrey. It is a village of brick, local sandstone and tile-hung houses, with cottages around the church and family homes spread along the lanes towards Bucks Green and Cox Green. I decorate throughout the village and its surroundings.

Rudgwick has an unusually solid, hand-built feel — sandstone and brick elevations, clay tile-hanging and heavy timber, a legacy of the local brick and stone trades.
