The brief
Set in the village of Shere near Guildford, this is a modern home with an elegant, French feel — soft colours, fine detailing and a calm, considered mood. The owners wanted three rooms brought together under one scheme: the kitchen, a study and the principal bedroom.
The kitchen cabinetry was hand-painted for a smooth, characterful finish with real depth of colour; the study given fitted shelving in a deep, restful green; and the bedroom kept soft and light. Worked room by room over two weeks, clean and tidy throughout.
